Morgan Zuch, Cancer Survivor and namesake of The Morgan Center, where Zoe attended school. Morgan dedicates her time to teaching and helping at The Morgan Center, a preschool program for children battling cancer. Children like Zoe who have attended The Morgan Center have inspired her to become a teacher, as well as continuing to make a difference in the lives of young children battling cancer. Morgan is attending Marist College for her Masters in Educational Psychology. She had to work harder than others in school due to the chemotherapy treatment, and even with this challenge, graduated Marist College this past May with honors, Magna Cum Laude. Morgan stated, “I am honored to be considered for the Zoefia Alexandria Scholarship. This is very meaningful to me because I witnessed first hand what school meant to Zoefia. I saw Zoe’s face light up when she entered the classroom, and saw her squeal with delight when she saw her friends and teachers. Zoe loved to learn, socialize and play with her friends. The feeling of joy in knowing that I was instrumental in creating an educational environment that brought Zoe such happiness, is indescribable.
