Children’s Portraits are important with Cancer Children they go through so much over the course of treatments. Medication alone changes their features and families need these photos for growth, progress, memories and simply to have because sometimes that is all that you are left with when they reach the end of their journey.

Portraits are offered to families ONCE per year and is based on availability of our Photographers who are volunteers. The Photo Session is for One hour and families are responsible for the hair, makeup, and clothing for the child. {Unless otherwise specified}.

Photos are taken at the studioor an agreed location, if you are at a Temporary Housing such as ‘The Ronald McDonald House’ etc.  WE DO NOT GO INSIDE OF FAMILIES PERMANENT RESIDENTS.  We do however take photos outside the residents, due to corona locations are limited, we try to accommodate the family by allowing them to choose a location but please be mindful of the location and straying far out in another borough.

  • Must be a Current CANCER patient getting Chemotherapy
  • Photos are based on Photographer’s availability
  • Must be registered with the Foundation
  • What do you get – You will get Digital Prints approx. 300 – 500 all depends on the length of the shoot. – All the photos are yours to keep – You get to pick approx. 5-10 photos that will be professionally edited by the photographer. These are professional Photos taken by an experienced /published Photographer.

Media Authorization

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby authorize Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc., its affiliates and/or photographers for Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. to photograph and/or record my likeness and/or voice in any medium so chosen by Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. I grant to Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. the absolute right for as long and often as Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. may elect, to edit these recordings at its sole discretion, to incorporate these photographs and recordings whether edited or unedited into videotapes and other forms of communication media, to use, reproduce, publish, exhibit, display, modify, broadcast and distribute such photographs and recordings, in whole or in part, in any form of exhibition or transmission now known or hereafter developed throughout the world in perpetuity, and use my name, likeness, voice, and biographic or other specific information in connection therewith, in whole or in part, or in composite or altered character or form. I understand Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. shall have the right to do these things without prior inspection or approval by me. I understand that the use of my name, likeness, voice and biographic information, promotion, art, editorial, marketing, public relations, industrial use, advertising, trade, and any other purpose whatsoever. I further agree that Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. shall have the right, but not the obligation, to make any use of any of the rights granted in this Authorization and Release. Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. shall have and retain these rights worldwide and in perpetuity subject to the terms and conditions herein.

Without limitation, I hereby release Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. from all claims, rights or remedies by or on behalf of me for damages for copyright or trademark infringement, libel, slander, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or any other claims, rights or remedies.

I agree that I am to receive no compensation in connection with the recording, use or distribution of the above-described materials and that the above-descried materials or materials derived from them shall be owned by Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. 

I represent that I am over 18 years of age, if under 18, that my parent or guardian has read and signed this document on my behalf.

I acknowledge that I have carefully read this document in its entirety and understand that it is a complete WAIVER and RELEASE of all claims and rights that I may have against Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. and that no action will be taken by me or on behalf of my parents, children, guardians, heirs, assigns and estate against Zoefia Alexandria Foundation Inc. 

Any dispute arising under their Photo Authorization and Release or the Informed Consent and Release of Liability, or the subject matter described herein, will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. These agreements express the complete understanding of the subject matter and all prior proposals, agreements, representations and understanding.
